North Lanarkshire Council announce purchase of new CCTV equipment

North Lanarkshire Council’s ongoing drive to improve community safety for residents has been given a boost thanks to the purchase of a new piece of CCTV equipment.

The re-deployable CCTV trailer can be set up in mobile or semi-permanent locations and helps capture or deter crimes such as anti-social behaviour or vandalism.Councillor Kenneth Stevenson, Convener of the council’s Communities Committee, welcomed the news.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
