Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher sparked a frenzy in the music world today by announcing that they're finally getting back together for a new UK tour. After their notorious split in 2009, when Noel declared that he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer", the two pursued solo endeavours.
However, fans have been longing for their reconciliation ever since. Now, a video released by the pair on the platform X, has sent waves of excitement across their fanbase as they announced jointly "this is it, this is happening", alongside flashbacks of their past as well as black and white photos from a new photoshoot. In one of these latest images, Liam stands slightly ahead of Noel, and both pose with their hands in pockets while staring into the camera.
Body language specialist Judi James analysed the image, commenting: "The key pose shows the brothers in time-warp mode, reassuring the fans that they are still stuff-full of industrial strength, uncompromising edginess that remains undimmed by age," reports the Manchester Evening News.
In the second picture above, Judi observes that "Liam is all about challenge and confrontation although his hard gaze is aimed at the camera, not his brother."The most striking moment comes towards the video's end when a succession of snapshots flicker past swiftly.
