A man who fell from the roof of a building is understood not to have been seriously injured in the plummet. The 34-year-old tumbled from the top of a property in Catto Street, Peterhead at around 1.35pm on Friday January 7.
Images shared on social media showed that an air ambulance was deployed to the scene to assist. The man was rushed to hospital for treatment but it is understood he was not seriously hurt.Cops investigating the circumstances of the incident are also understood to have ruled out any suggestion of foul play in the build-up to the fall.
Police Scotland declined to comment further on the incident beyond re-issuing a statement provided to the Record on Friday. A force spokesperson said: "We were called around 1.35pm on Friday, 7 January, to a report of a man falling from a roof in the Catto Drive area of Peterhead."A 34-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment."
