Escape to the Chateau star Dick Strawbridge has admitted he was disappointed to not see the wolf moon at his beloved home last night.The star of the Channel 4 show also shared his concern that his children would not be too upset by this.The first full moon of January has been called the Wolf Moon for centuries.It happened in 2022 for the first time last night across the world.Dick was among many who wanted to catch a glimpse at it from his chateau in France.However, the star was unable to do this, as he took to Twitter to share why.Posting to his 85,000 followers last night, he wrote: "It’s been cold and misty all day so there is no chance of seeing the first full moon of the year tonight, the ‘wolf moon’.“We’ll just have to pop up to the observatoire on Friday (the first clear evening forecasted).“It’ll still be full-ish wonder if A&D will notice a bit missing?”He was referring to his children with his wife Angel Strawbridge, Arthur and Dorothy.Many of Dick’s followers replied to his tweet as they shared their own experience of seeing the full moon.Fan @MurphyOfMercia wrote: “Best viewed with missing bits.“You get to see the craters on the edge of light line.
