Planning on going as Barbenheimer with your significant other this Halloween? Well, if you’re a SAG-AFTRA member, you might want to reconsider.

SAG-AFTRA has released a guide “to make sure our members don’t inadvertently break strike rules.” Advice includes “choose costumes inspired by generalized characters” such as ghosts & zombies and “don’t post photos of costumes inspired by struck content on social media.” Beyond the general “ghosts” counsel, the guide recommends: “dress up as characters from non-struck content, like an animated TV show.” Here’s the graphic and full text posted by SAG. “This Halloween, we wanted to make sure our members don’t inadvertently break strike rules, and have put together some quick tips on the dos and don’ts for costumes.

Check them out and have a spooktacular Halloween!” By providing your information, you agree to our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
