Nicola Sturgeon rules out full Scottish lockdown but warns new restrictions are coming

coronavirus. The First Minister said the Scottish Government is still working out how to respond to soaring infection levels, with a statement at Holyrood expected tomorrow.

At today's coronavirus briefing in Edinburgh, Sturgeon said: "Let me be clear - we are not proposing another lockdown at this stage, not even on a temporary basis. "We are not going to be asking you to stay inside your own homes in the way you did back in March."Restrictions on travel may be needed in "hotspot" areas but blanket rules will not be imposed on the whole country, she said."We are not about to shut down the entire economy, we're not about to halt the remobilisation of the  NHS.
