Level Three for a number of weeks after cases started to creep up in some parts for the city. The south side of Glasgow has been an area badly hit by the rise in cases over the last month.
The Scottish Government has increased testing in the G41 and G42 postal areas in a bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus which has killed more than 7,000 Scots over the last year.
Vaccines have also be ramped up in an attempt to prevent further hospitalisations in the area.Sturgeon said the measures taken so far in the city have helped to stabilise the number of cases.If cases continue to stabilise then Glasgow could move down to Level Two from next Saturday.
