Nickelodeon has ordered Wylde Pak, a new 2D-animated comedy series that follows the daily life of a blended multigenerational Korean American family.
Set for premiere this summer, it is the second short from Nickelodeon’s Intergalactic Shorts Program to be greenlighted to series.
Inspired by co-creators and executive producers Paul Watling (The Tiger’s Apprentice) and Kyle Marshall’s (The Loud House) family life, the 26-episode comedy series follows half-siblings Lily and Jack as they learn to navigate new family dynamics under one roof for the first time.
Wylde Pak stars Nikki Castillo (K.C. Undercover) as the voice of Lily Pak, a competitive and fun-loving 11-year-old, and Benjamin Plessala (SpongeBob: Sponge on the Run) as Jack Wylde, Lily’s 13-year-old adventurous half-brother who just came into town for the summer.
