The Ibrox side took their case to a fast track tribunal over wrongful dismissal after the Ivorian midfielder was sent packing by referee Walsh in the closing stages of Sunday's 3-1 win at Tannadice.
Walsh was sent by VAR to the monitor to review his decision to dismiss Diomande after the midfielder raised his hand to United’s Kevin Holt, although the contact was minimal.He stood by his decision much to Philippe Clement's derision after the match.
The Rangers boss said it would be appealed and vowed the club would win – something that came to pass when the outcome was announced on Tuesday evening.
