Newport Beach TV Fest Announces Inaugural Event This June (EXCLUSIVE)

The org revealed Wednesday that it will hold the inaugural Newport Beach TV Fest from June 5 to June 8 at the Lido Theater and The Port Theater in Newport Beach, Calif.
The four-day event promises a “celebration of television artistry and creative achievements” whiling bringing together “industry professionals and audiences for a unique celebration of established and emerging talent, networks, and streaming services.” Timing of the Newport Beach TV Fest is strategic to hit right before the Emmy nomination voting window, and as FYC events wrap up.
According to the festival, it plans to attract “he largest gathering of Guild and Television Academy voters outside of Los Angeles or New York” and “honor creativity in television while offering a platform for innovative storytelling in front of a dynamic audience.” Events and programs during the Newport Beach TV Fest will include TV Awards Showcase: Comedy & Drama, an unscripted spotlight, cast reunions, fan-favorite screenings and a showrunners panel.
