Newcastle are planning a move for Manchester United 'target' Darwin Nunez during the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Speculation over the Benfica prospect is at fever pitch as he enjoys an eye-catching season for the Portuguese side. Nunez, 22, has scored 25 goals in 32 games across all competitions and has emerged at Old Trafford as a reported alternative to Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland.
As things stand, Benfica are thought to want £60million for his services. Following a seismic £305million takeover, Newcastle are effectively the richest club in world football and continue to be linked with several high-profile players.
