Joe Otterson TV Reporter The new iteration of “The Office” at Peacock is adding three new cast members. Melvin Gregg (“American Vandal,” “Snowfall”), Chelsea Frei (“Poker Face,” “The Cleaning Lady”) and Ramona Young (“Never Have I Ever,” “Santa Clarita Diet”) will all star in the series alongside previously announced cast members Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore.

The new castings were first reported by the Palisadian-Post in Pacific Palisades, CA, as the actors were shadowing reporters at the publication in preparation for their roles.

As has been previously reported, the show is not a reboot or spinoff of “The Office,” but rather a new mockumentary show with a new cast set in the same universe.

It is rumored to be currently titled “The Paper” but no official title has been announced. The official logline states: “The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.” Greg Daniels, who developed the American version of “The Office” for television, is co-creating the new series with Michael Koman.
