A luxurious glamping site at the foot of the Peak District is due to open a new restaurant and cafe. Hollowoaks Limited, who own Dovestone Holiday Park in Saddleworth, want to transform Greenfield Farm into an eatery, shop and leisure space.
The two-storey house with a traditional slate roof is on a plot of land adjacent to the holiday park off Chew Valley Road, which is home to a number of ‘luxury spa lodges and glamping pods’.
A planning application granted by Oldham Council will see the ex-farmhouse refurbished into a mixed-use business on the ground floor, with dining space, a games room, kitchen, storage and bathroom areas.
Meanwhile the second floor will be turned into a two-bed apartment for the holiday park’s managers.
