Chef Nick Beardshaw, formerly of Kerridge's in London, has launched his own restaurant where he showcases his best dishes. The menu features Nick's famous A Moon Shaped Pool, a dish that won him acclaim on the BBC's Great British Menu.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, and I can confidently say this restaurant, in Esher, Surrey, is outstanding. My boyfriend, Owen, and I had a wonderful time sampling the incredible menu.
We were warmly welcomed by general manager James Shaw, who walked us through the menu and promptly brought our drinks over. I started with a fresh peppermint tea, followed by a sumptuous Sussex sparkling wine, while Owen opted for a bottle-aged Negroni.
