Snow has been predicted to fall in some parts of the UK this week as temperatures remain significantly cold, according to forecasters.
Weather maps from the Met Office show how rain and snowfall will slowly move from the east and push its way through southern parts of England today.
In particular, Exeter and Plymouth will be hit in the early hours of Tuesday morning (January 9). Later on in the morning at around 10.45am, snow will continue to be pushed into the south-west, hitting some key parts of Cornwall including Bodmin and Newquay.
Following this short snow event, the Met Office maps show that whole of the country will be free from snowfall for a few days, though, with rain predicted in some northern parts of England alongside Scotland on Wednesday. Try MEN Premium now with our amazing New Year offer...
