Senior ministers are reviewing Greater Manchester’s current coronavirus restrictions today - and are expected to impose extra rules on two of the conurbation’s boroughs.Although Boris Johnson announced new national rules earlier this week, the government still believes additional localised measures need to sit alongside them in places with high infection rates.In Greater Manchester, there are currently four sets of local rules covering the ten boroughs, with case numbers well above the national average everywhere.
