Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. New cafe will use profits to help people in need across South Lanarkshire

A new cafe has opened in Hamilton that aims to put every penny of profit back into the community.Born and Bred in the Community opened to the public, on Muir Street, at the start of October.It is run by Blantyre Community Trust in conjunction with Blantyre Soccer Academy, who since the start of lockdown have worked together to provide free hot meals daily for every child attending their holiday programmes, as well as supplying Christmas Day and New Year's Day dinners for families and people in need.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Lisa Mallin of Blantyre Soccer Academy has helped get the cafe up and running and told Lanarkshire Live : "It is becoming increasingly difficult for people and families in the community with the current cost of living crisis, so BSA decided to invest in the cafe to fund the community events and food we provide.
