Netflix Virgin River's 'favourite couple' confirmed by fans in major twist

A recent fan poll for the popular Netflix series, Virgin River, has unveiled a surprising favourite couple among viewers. The show primarily revolves around nurse practitioner Mel Monroe (portrayed by Alexandra Breckenridge), who relocates to a picturesque Northern Californian village after experiencing a heart-wrenching tragedy.Once there, she quickly falls for local pub owner and ex-Marine Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and becomes acquainted with the quirky yet warm-hearted locals.

These include Jack's best mate Preacher (Colin Lawrence) and Mel's new boss Vernon 'Doc' Mullins (Tim Matheson), who is married to the town's mayor, Hope McCrea (Annette O'Toole).There are also several other strong couples, such as Preacher's budding romance with firefighter Kaia Bryant (Kandyse McClure) and young lovers Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) and Doc's grandson Denny (Kai Bradbury), who are expecting a baby.

Mel and Jack came second with 60, less than half of the vote, and Doc and Hope secured third place with just 41 votes. While Mel and Jack's nuptials took centre stage in season six of the hit show, fans are buzzing about Brie and Brady's sizzling connection.
