Tiger King sensation Joe Exotic, 61, has found love behind bars and is now engaged to a fellow inmate he met during his 21-year sentence. The notorious reality TV star, whose real name is Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, announced on Twitter on October 28 that he's planning to tie the knot with his prison partner, Jorge Marquez, aged 33.

Now, the quest of getting married in prison and getting him asylum, or we be leaving America when we both get out. Either way, I wish I would have met him long ago." Joe, whose turbulent love life was as much a part of his story as his exotic animals, has been married at least twice before, although it's not clear which were legal as they include a three-partner marriage ceremony.

He married his most recent husband, Dillon Passage, in December 2017 but Dillon took to social media in 2021 to announce their split, saying: "Yes, Joe and I are seeking a divorce." "This wasn't an easy decision to make" he continued," but Joe and I both understand that this situation isn't fair to either of us.
