Show producers have since confirmed that a Last Kingdom movie, called Seven Kings Must Die is now in production! Alexander Dreymon will return as Uhtred in the film.
A premiere date for the sequel film has not yet been announced, but Alexander has already confirmed that filming has begun, posting a video from his first day on set in Budapest, Hungary back in January of 2022.
