The first series of Squid Game was released on the streaming service in September 2021 and quickly gained popularity - receiving a whopping 95% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8/10 IMDB score.
In Squid Game Season 1, a group of indebted contestants were invited to take part in a mysterious, and unknowingly deadly, competition.

A trailer on X and wrote: “There’s no stopping the game. Squid Game Season 2 arrives 26 December.” Fans have flocked to the comments on X to express their excitement.
