Netflix fans are buzzing about a new drama series starring Line Of Duty's Stephen Graham. Bodies follows four detectives, living in four different eras, who find the body of the same murder victim in London’s Whitechapel.
They soon come to realise their investigations have them central to a mysterious conspiracy spanning over a 150 years. Stephen stars as political figure Elias Mannix, who is linked to the murders.
The eight-episode series is an adaptation of a DC graphic novel written by Si Spencer and illustrated by Dean Ormston, Phil Winslade, Tula Lotay, Meghan Hetrick and Lee Loughridge. Fans were mesmerised by the dramatic teaser trailer, which introduced viewers to the four timelines in which the story is set: 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2023.
It also showed cast members Kyle Soller, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Amaka Okafor and and Shira Haas. One fan commented on the teaser trailer, uploaded to YouTube: "Gonna be an immediate watch for me!" while a second praised: "Well done Netflix, you grabbed my attention".
