Netflix fans demand return of popular show as they say 'give us' the next series after Squid Game release

Netflix has shared some more behind the scenes shots of Squid Game, following the release of series two. The second series of the acclaimed Korean survival thriller was released on Boxing Day, after much anticipation since the first series.

And the streaming giant has revealed that the third series will be released at the end of 2025. In Squid Game, hundreds of cash-strapped contestants accept an invitation to compete in children's games for a tempting prize, but the stakes turn out to be lethal.

Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Netflix shared two behind the scenes images of the Squid Game cast and wrote: "We say O to more Squid Game 2 BTS.", the O being the red circle symbol used in the show.

And underneath the post, some fans have taken to the comments to request that the behind the scenes shots keep on coming. However, more noticeably, many fans have demanded the return of a different series altogether.
