James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and before that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy. He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).

Netflix desperately pushing ‘Baby Reindeer’ for Emmy success — as it vows to fight $170M ‘stalker’ suit

Fiona Harvey — the woman who has come forward to allege that Gadd based his on-screen stalker on her — filed her long-promised suit in Los Angeles federal court.The suit accuses Netflix of “defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, gross negligence, and violations of Harvey’s right of publicity rising out of the brutal lies defendants told about her in the television series, ‘Baby Reindeer.'”Netflix broke its silence Monday, and told The Post, “We intend to defend this matter vigorously and to stand by Richard Gadd’s right to tell his story.”Meanwhile, industry sources told The Post that “Baby Reindeer” is already viewed as a hot favorite to win limited series at the Emmys in September, with Gunning and Gadd expected to earn acting nods when nominations are announced June 17.
