George Galloway has claimed he was "relentlessly" and "physically" stalked by the real-life Martha from the hit Netflix show Baby Reindeer. The Dundee-born politician told Piers Morgan Uncensored that during his time as MP for Glasgow Hillhead in the 1980s and 1990s he received "hundreds" of calls from who he believed to be Fiona Harvey.

Galloway, who is defending his Rochdale seat at the General Election, revealed he had discovered his "one-time stalker" following an interview between Morgan and Harvey earlier this year.Speaking on Morgan's YouTube channel, he said: "I saw her sitting in this chair, I was riveted by your interview and it took me right back to the 1980s when stalking was up close and personal because there was no emails, there was no texting. "You had to either phone someone on their landline or turn up at the door.

That's real stalking and that's what she did to me. She called me hundreds of times, hundreds of times, and she showed up probably hundreds of times, at the most inappropriate places.

At my office, wherever she discovered that we were, me and my staff and my inner circle, she would breeze in.”Galloway claims Harvey was after his job as an MP in Glasgow.
