Brent Lang Executive Editor Neon, the indie studio behind “Anatomy of a Fall” and “Parasite,” has made a pair of key promotions.
Elissa Federoff has been named chief distribution officer, having previously served as president of distribution, while Ryan Friscia has been upped to chief financial officer, having previously served as the company’s EVP of finance and business development.
Federoff has been with Neon since its inception in 2017. In her new role, she will continue to oversee the company’s release strategy across all its titles.
Recent Neon releases include Michael Mohan’s “Immaculate,” starring Sydney Sweeney, which has grossed more than $16 million; Wim Wenders’ “Perfect Days,” which earned an Oscar nomination for best international feature; and “Anatomy of a Fall,” which was nominated for best picture at the Academy Awards and won the Oscar for original screenplay.
