Identical twins Christina and Caroline Alessi are unrecognisable 30 years on from their time on Australian soap opera 'Neighbours'.Gayle and Gillian Blakeney - who played the Alessi sisters on the soap - are now 57-years-old and appear worlds away from their time on Ramsay Street.The twins were part of a host of dramatic storylines over the years and it started with their welcome, reports the Mirror.Following their move to Ramsay Street, the sisters were put under witness protection after they witnessed a shocking murder in an explosive storyline.The pair even made the most out of being identical twins, pretending to be the same person.The twins adopted the persona of Linda Giles before they were uncovered by local villain, Paul Robinson.The pair were also involved in various romances with Christina marrying Paul, only for Caroline to have fallen for his charm and leave the neighbourhood.Gayle and Gillian bid farewell to the soap after different times in 1992, returning for three episodes in 2019 before deciding to part ways with acting for good.After their time on the show, the sisters started a brand called The Twins - where they released various tracks including, All Mixed Up, Mad If Ya Don't and Wanna Be Your Lover.Following their departure from the show, they both opted to move to California.Gayle and Gillian now live in America with their partners and kids - the two even gave birth within weeks of each other.Gillian has a daughter called Stella, while Gayle has a son called Jack and also went on to have twins herself.In a Facebook video shared back in 2018, they both glammed up in black to celebrate their pal's birthday.Gillian and Gayle kept their hair similar as they both chose loose waves and a middle parting.Th
