Nandi Bushell shares dreamy single ‘The Only One’ with new band Blu Reflection

Nandi Bushell has shared her first single with her new band Blu Reflection, titled ‘The Only One’.The 14-year-old made her name performing drum covers that would go viral.

She began playing the drums when she was five, and shot to viral fame in 2020 at just ten years old, for her online drum battles with Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl – with Grohl even admitting defeat in November of that year.She would go on to perform ‘Learn To Fly’ at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert, following his death aged 50 in 2022, playing with a pair of drumsticks that he gifted her.

Last year, meanwhile, she covered John Lennon‘s ‘Power To The People’ at Download Festival with Tom Morello.Now, Bushell has debuted her new band, in which she plays drums and also sings.

The line-up is completed by Sebby Joel on guitar, and Kea Emina on bass.Blu Reflection had released some covers last year but this is their first time releasing original music.
