Mystery of lights in the night sky deepens as people in Greater Manchester town ask the same question

People in Stockport were scratching their heads after mysterious lights were seen in the night sky. The Manchester Evening News has been sent videos of the strange sight at around 10pm on Friday night (August 2).

There have been reports in Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall and in neighbouring Handforth in Cheshire. Clips show what looks like two glowing orbs circling the cloudy sky.

Another person who sent multiple clips said: "Video of weird light moving around sky in Handforth seen from my back door." It isn't the first time the lights have been seen.
