Wright, a former public relations representative for Microsoft, met Knowles in Seattle, Wash., while brokering a business deal for Beyoncé in 2007. “He said, ‘I am going to stay in Seattle until you agree to have a drink with me,’” recalled Wright. “And he stayed for two or three weeks until, finally, I said ‘fine!’”Soon after becoming acquainted, the pair embarked on an affair amid Knowles’ 31-year marriage to Beyoncé’s mother, Tina, 69.
