Selena Gomez is revisiting one of her most personal songs to date – “Lose You to Love Me.” The emotional ballad introduced her chart-topping album Rare in 2019 and rocketed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Many fans believe that the song is about the hitmaker’s ex Justin Bieber, however it was never confirmed by Selena.

She opened up about its meaning in her My Mind & Me documentary, explaining that it was “about more than just a lost love.” Four years after its release, Selena shared a live performance of the song at the piano and explained a little about what it meant to her.

She also let fans know why she decided to make it so that they could not comment on the video.
