Cumbernauld Colts boss David Proctor won’t roll out the welcome mat for former team-mate Liam Fox as they host Hearts ‘B’ at Broadwood on Saturday.Proctor and Fox used to travel to the Highlands together from the central belt when they played for Inverness, and are good friends. But Proctor says that counts for nothing as they clash head-on in the Lowland League. He said: “Hearts ‘B’ will be tough, they’re young and athletic, and I know Liam Fox very well from our time up at Inverness, so I know how good a coach he is, and he will have them very well organised.“They will be looking to bounce back from getting beat by Cowdenbeath at the weekend there, and they’re a tough outfit.”Colts then host Gretna 2008 on Wednesday, who have conceded 29 goals in five games, scoring just two.Their last result was a 4-0 defeat against Albion Rovers, and Proctor reckons they’ll soon get a victory – but wants to make sure it’s not against Colts. He said: “We then have Gretna in midweek at home, and it’s another game that we have to take very professionally and make sure our approach is right.“They will be looking to stem the flow of goals they’re conceding, and they’re going to pick up points at some stage, so we have to be very professional and do our job properly.“We need to make sure we use our home advantage to move the ball about quickly and if we can put the game to bed it’s a lot more comfortable.“If we give them an opportunity to hold onto something then it could be a long night.”Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
