But one woman was worried she was in the wrong for "making" her bridesmaid wear a dress that she felt didn't suit her. The woman explained that she'd "always loved the aesthetics of the regency era" so wanted to "incorporate it" in her wedding.
She decided her bridesmaids would "wear empire waist dresses, like the ones seen in Bridgerton or Pride and Prejudice." She said most of her bridesmaids were enthusiastic about the dress code – but there's one woman who is "very mad" about it, saying "the dress looks unflattering on her due to her body proportions." Taking to Reddit, the bride-to-be continued: "She has broad shoulders, a large chest, large arms, a small waist, and thin legs.
