Neil Young, the rumoured headliner for Glastonbury 2025, has reportedly pulled out of the festival, labelling it a 'corporate turn-off'.The 79-year-old musician and his live band, The Chrome Hearts, were expected to perform at the iconic Somerset-based festival.

However, in a statement on Neil Young Archives, he revealed: "We were told the BBC was now a partner in Glastonbury and wanted us to do a lot for things we were not interested in.

It seems Glastonbury is now under corporate control and is not the way I remember it being. We will not be playing Glastonbury on this tour because it is a corporate turn-off, and not for me like it used to be." He ended his statement with a hopeful note, saying, "Hope to see you at one of the other venues on the tour." The exact details of what the BBC requested remain unclear.

A source previously suggested that Neil and his band, including Glastonbury, were finalising plans for European tour dates, reports the Mirror.
