A murder probe has been launched over the death of a woman in Aberdeen who has been described by heartbroken family as a "deeply loved" mother.
Police have named the woman discovered near an address on Stoneywood Road, in Dyce as 47-year-old Jill Barclay, who was local to the area.
Officers were called to the scene at around 3.30am on September 17, with forensics teams snapped amid a significant emergency service response.A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her death.
Police have said that their enquiries in the area will be ongoing for some time to establish the full circumstances of what happened.Jill’s family have also released a heartbreaking statement, in which they said: “Jill was a deeply loved life partner, mother and daughter.
