A man accused of killing Ashley Dale in her Merseyside home has said he 'warned' her boyfriend over threats made to 'stab him up,' a jury has heard.
Ian Fitzgibbon is one of five men currently on trial at Liverpool Crown Court charged with the murder of the 28-year-old Knowsley Council worker.
She died after she was shot in the abdomen and collapsed in her back yard on Leinster Road in Old Swan on August 21 last year.
Giving evidence on Monday (November 6), Fitzgibbon denied being an 'organiser' in a plot to kill Ashley's boyfriend Lee Harrison, saying he would 'never see harm come to Lee or Ashley,' reports the Liverpool Echo.
