Theres a new trend in baby names, and it's all about revisiting the classics. Old-fashioned monikers once associated with our nans and granddads are making a major comeback this year.
One woman seeking some vintage inspiration for her friend's soon-to-be born baby girl took to the Facebook group, Learning and Exploring Through Play.
In her post, she asked: "My friend is looking for an old-fashioned name for her baby girl! What is a classic grandma's name? " This led to a flurry of suggestions from the social media crowd - with more than 1,300 comments on the post. 'Grandma' names like Norma and Jean proved popular amongst the responses.
One mum shared: "If I had a girl with my last pregnancy I was going to call her Norma Jean after my grandma.... But i had a boy." Another user added: "My grandma was also named Norma Jean.
