She was absolutely appalled to find that a 25g packet of nutmeg from another brand overflowed when poured into the 30g MasterFoods jar.
As the MasterFoods container should be able to hold 5g more than she poured in, she was shocked when, after refilling the jar, she was left with product still in the 25g packet.
The mum believed this to be evidence that the weight of the nutmeg was mislabelled. “So we all know when there is an ‘e’ after a gram on packaging that it means ‘estimate,’" she began.
