A campaigning East Kilbride mum whose son relies on 'miracle' cannabis medicine to survive has called on Scotland's New First Minister to keep his promise and cut the red tape to end her battle for government funding.Her impassioned plea comes as 10-year-old Cole Thomson netted a year's supply of the lifesaving drug in just one night thanks to a fundraising ball in his honour.Cole's Goals inaugural ball was held at Hamilton Academical Football Club on Saturday and raised a whopping £15,000 for the brave youngster.Today, as Humza Yousaf was appointed Scotland's new First Minister, Cole's mum Lisa Quarrell shared her hope that the former Minister for Health and Social Care will do a better job at helping kids like Cole get the treatment they need.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
