MTV Reality Con has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. The three-day event was set to take place in London between 8 and 10 of May, but has now been cancelled because of fears over coronavirus, The Sun reports.
It was set to celebrate the best of reality TV, with fan favourites such as Joey Essex, Charlotte Crosby, Love Island’s Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen and Ex On The Beach’s Lateysha Grace making an appearance over the weekend.
A source told the paper: ‘MTV would rather be safe than sorry. And the safety of the fans and talent comes first.’ A spokesperson for MTV confirmed that Reality Con has been postponed and now won’t go ahead until 2021. ‘Due to concerns around the coronavirus (Covid-19), ViacomCBS
