And cleaning whizzes on social media have shared a "wonder" hack for doing so, and it only requires one cheap ingredient you probably already have at home.
Taking to the Facebook group Cleaning tips and tricks, which was set up for fans of the 'cleanfluencer' Mrs Hinch to share their advice, one person was looking for a helping hand with a condensation problem.
They posted : "Guys any recommendations for keeping condensation and damp at bay at this time of year? Especially on and above windows." People were quick to suggest solutions such as purchasing a dehumidifier to suck the moisture out of the air, or simply taking a towel and wiping the windows each morning.
