Viewers of ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office were upset after watching the second episode of the show which tells the true story of mysterious financial losses at village post offices, and how a new computer system led to many postmasters being wrongly accused of theft and fraud between 1999 and 2015.The show, with Toby Jones playing Alan Bates, tells the true story of his long fight for justice for many post office workers who were treated unfairly.
After the second episode aired, viewers said that they "couldn't stop screaming at the TV".
