Move over Bridgerton! The Pursuit of Love just introduced a hunky new duke

evoke.ieSimon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, was the only person we could talk about for months after Bridgerton dropped on Netflix. And we were heartbroken when Regé-Jean Page confirmed he would not be returning for season two.
However, BBC’s The Pursuit of Love has stepped in to fill that hunky Duke shaped hole in our lives and in turn somewhat redeemed itself after a pretty deary premiere.
The frisky period piece introduced Fabrice, Duc de Sauveterre (yes he’s French) during the second episode. Handsome French actor Assaad Bouab took on the role, who is tasked with seducing Lily James’ character, Linda Radlett.
