Morgan Wallen took to social media on Tuesday to say that he won't be performing concerts for the remainder of the year amid a time of introspection in the wake of his scandal in which he was caught on tape saying a racial slur.'I’ve found this time away to be very valuable to me in many ways, but I feel like I need a little more of it, and therefore will not be performing tour dates this summer,' the country music artist, 27, said in a handwritten note posted Tuesday.The Sneedville, Tennessee native said that he 'won’t be playing festivals or the Luke Bryan tour dates,' as he was slated to be on Bryan's Proud to Be Right Here Tour, as well as country festivals such as Kansas's Kicker Country Stampede and the Country Jam USA in Wisconsin..
