Morgan Wallen Breaks Silence After ‘SNL’ Walk Off Controversy: ‘Still Took The Money’

The country music superstar was tapped as the musical guest alongside host Mikey Madison for the March 29 episode. He sang two of his new songs, and did so in a very matter-of-fact way.
Many believed that while he sounded good, there was no flair to his performances. He continued that trend at the end of the night when he quickly left the stage during the iconic on-stage good night ritual.Fans immediately noticed that Morgan Wallen bolted as quickly as he could from the “Saturday Night Live” stage.
He briefly hugged Mikey Madison, but made no attempt to connect or celebrate with any of the cast members before quickly exiting the stage and walking off toward the “SNL” audience.
