Gardeners’ World presenter Monty Don, 66, was surprised to find uninvited guests had charged into his garden through the boundary fence today.
Luckily, the visitors heeded the horticulturist’s warnings when “politely asked to move on” and no harm was done.Monty shared a picture with his 952,000 Instagram followers of his verdant back garden this afternoon, with the addition of one unexpected guest posing majestically in the centre of the leafy scene.
Fluffy, four-legged and looking up longingly at the apple trees, a brown cow could clearly be seen standing amongst the shrubbery.
Alongside the picture Monty wrote: “An uninvited visitor to the garden today.. “A couple of cows broke in through the boundary fence.”The presenter seemed unfazed.
