A miracle cat survived five days by himself in extreme stormy weather - all with two broken legs. Squeak, a stray cat in Bury, disappeared for five days during storm Darragh, according to a woman who regularly feeds him.

She had begen to 'fear the worst,' but was shocked to wake up one morning to find the young feline 'crying' outside her house, unable to stand up.

He was taken to the vet, where the woman who usually fed him kindly paid £500 for his x-rays and initial care. However, she was unable to afford the cost of the treatment he needed.

Reluctant to put him down, the vets passed him onto Kitty Rescue Bury, who are now raising money for the miracle cat's treatment. "The vet really didn't want to put him to sleep because he was just so chill and a happy, loving cat even with his broken legs. "He was like purring and making biscuits even at the vet.
