Glasgow set to reach a peak of 23 degrees on Tuesday. The Met Office said of the Strathclyde region: "Mainly dry with some warm or very warm sunshine."However, overnight low cloud may extend westwards through the Central Belt before burning off by day."Edinburgh will be slightly cooler with a 19 degree start tomorrow but lowering temperatures throughout the week.
Regarding the Lothians and Borders, the Met Office noted: "Largely dry and bright with, especially across Dumfries and Galloway, some warm or very warm sunshine."However eastern coasts cloudier at times, the cloud spreading inland overnight." Meanwhile, Aberdeen will remain at 16 degrees throughout the week with the exception of Wednesday when it will be just a degree colder.
