Miley Cyrus has dropped her unique ‘Psycho Killer’ cover from the upcoming Talking Heads tribute album – listen to it below.‘Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense’ was first announced in December by A24 Music.

The album, which is out now, features 16 artists taking on classics from the New York band – including the already released Lorde version of ‘Take Me to the River’, which Talking Heads themselves covered in 1978, from the 1974 original by Al Green.Now, Miley Cyrus has released her synthpop-drenched take on their hit ‘Psycho Killer’.

Though she originally previewed the acoustic cover at the Chateau Marmont in March, the album version has been revealed to feature a driving new-wave beat and pulsing synths in the background.The cover also features some new lyrics from the popstar, which sees her proclaim: “I love you, psycho killer / Gonna love you forever / You know I’ll never run away”.Take a listen to her version below:The first track previewed ahead of the compilation was Paramore’s version of ‘Burning Down the House’ on January 31.

That was the pop-punk band’s first new release since they wiped all of their social media accounts clean, leading to rumours of a split.In return, David Byrne shared his cover of the band’s hit ‘Hard Times’, ahead of its exclusive Record Store Day vinyl release.Also released is Teezo Touchdown’s take on ‘Making Flippy Floppy’, Girl In Red’s cover of ‘Girlfriend Is Better’, and Miley Cyrus’ version of ‘Psycho Killer’.Other artists on the album include The National, Blondshell, The Cavemen, Jean Dawson, Kevin Abstract, The Linda Lindas, Toro y Moi and BADBADNOTGOOD.The album comes in celebration of the recent re-release of Jonathan Demme’s iconic.
