Mikey Johnston admits his man of the match performance for Ireland could serve as a message to Brendan Rodgers. But the Hoops winger reckons the plaudits received for his starring role in a 1-1 draw with New Zealand might not get his boss back in Glasgow off the couch.
Johnston has been a revelation for Stephen Kenny's side since making the call to represent the Irish in March this year while still on loan from Celtic at Vitoria in Portugal.

The 24-year-old has only managed 25 minutes of action this season for the Scottish Premiership champions, and admitted previously his future isn't necessarily up to him.
